Nintendo DS
The Nintendo DS delivers cutting edge technology that includes WiFi communication and two ultra-bright screens, complete with 3-D graphics. You can test your skills and play those in the same room or in another country. This is a state of the art system that no longer relies completely on buttons, but now has a touch screen that you can use with the included stylus or the touch of your finger. It also has built in stereo speakers that make you feel as if you are a part of the game. This system is also extremely family friendly as it has games aimed at kids and families and fewer that are rated mature, if any.
If you currently have a Game Boy Advance and are looking to get a new system, the Nintendo DS is perfect, as your old Game Boy games will still play on the Nintendo DS. It is one of the few backwards compatible game systems on the market. You can see your old games in a whole new light as it has twice the color of the Game Boy Advance. The DS has crisper graphics and better sound. When added with a double screen it just doesn't get much better. You also have the option of using headphones and blocking out the annoying outside sounds that could otherwise distract you.
As if the wireless internet was not cool enough you also have Pictochat. With this feature you can send drawings or text messages to others with a DS via a local internet connection. With this you have a 30-foot radius to which you can send and receive messages. Plus the messages you send are not monitored, therefore they are not private. With the wireless connection you can create a network of up to 16 players that can be anywhere from 30 to 100 feet away. Something even better, some of the games only require one player to have the cartridge and the rest of the network can play off it. Do you want to hear the best part? This service is absolutely free!
As for the system itself it is small and sleek. It can fit pretty much anywhere including your back pocket. Since it is a folding system the screen is better protected than many other handheld systems on the market. Plus you can buy a cover for system to be sure no unwanted scratches or other damage is done to the outer case. With most gaming systems the battery life is short if not non-existent. With the Nintendo DS a three hour charge gives you fifteen to nineteen hours of play time. You can also choose from eight different color options so you can pick a color that reflects your personal taste.
This game leaves nothing to be desired. You can play games, chat and even play multi-player sessions and all for free. It's small and lightweight so it's comfortable for a player of any age. With all of the amazing features you have every reason to get one of your own. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and get a Nintendo DS of your own.
